CFC Certification & Testing
Become CFC certified by attending 10 hours of instruction followed by testing in one or all of the following: Type I, Type II, Type III and Universal certification in the use of EPA regulated refrigerant gases. Attendees will be instructed in the rules and regulations that meet compliance with the EPA refrigerant recycle rules. All instruction materials will be provided. Student materials are available in Spanish.
Course Topics include:
- Prohibition on venting
- Mandatory technical certification
- Safe disposal requirements
- Refrigeration maintenance practices
- Related topics pertaining to Section 608 of the Clean Air Act of 1990
- Service practice requirements
- Refrigerant sales restrictions
- Record keeping requirements
- High pressure/low pressure systems
Registration Policies
As you register for TAA courses and seminars, please keep in mind that all fees are due by the seminar date or first day of the specific course.
Limit of 30 individuals per class. Registration fee must be paid prior to each deadline in order to receive text material and to attend classes. Cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations received one month prior to course will receive a full refund. Cancellations received three weeks out will receive a 75% refund. Cancellations received two weeks out will recieve a 50% refund. Cancellations received one week out will receive a 25% refund. Cancellations received less than one week prior to the course will not be entitled to any refund.
