The Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) curriculum for property management professionals (managers, leasing consultants) is designed to help you to:

CAM Designation Requirements

In order to maintain the highest professional standards, CAM designation requires:

  • Pass comprehensive online exam
  • Attendance at all classes
  • Successful completion of an apartment community analysis project  (due 06/08/10)
  • Documented industry experience of one year

CAM I - Apartment Community Analysis
    Wednesday, March 31, 2010  /  9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

How to prepare an apartment community analysis • Conduct a NOI analysis and identify opportunities to build NOI • Research and discovery • Project formatting • Project evaluation

A Key component of the CAM program is the creation of your own Community Analysis project that demonstrates your ability to:

Analyze your community market and respond with targeted marketing plans • Assess the unit mix pricing and to effectively revise rental policies • Conduct a NOI analysis and identify opportunities to build NOI • Identify the economic benefits of modernizing, repositioning, improving or converting an apartment community to maximize profitability

 

(NOTE: This is a requirement for individuals seeking the CAM designation)

CAM Designation Course Fee

TAA Members: $899 (includes text, class instruction for all modules & exams)
Non-Members: $1024 (includes text, class instruction for all modules & exams)

You may be invoiced at one time or choose a 2-moth payment plan for Feb & March (Members only, charged will be $449 per month)

(NOTE: The National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) has moved to online exams.  The CAM designation will now have one comprehensive online exam after completion of all modules.)

Registration Deadlines & Policies: As you register for TAA courses and seminars, please keep in mind that all fees are due by the seminar date or first day of the specific course. (Unless enrolled in the payment plan)

Registration deadline is 01/19/2010. Registration fee must be paid prior to 02/10/10 in order to receive text material and to attend classes. Cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations received by January 13, 2010, will receive a full refund. Cancellations received by January 22, 2010, will receive a 75% refund. Cancellations received by January 27, 2010, will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received by February 03, 2010, will receive a 25% refund. Cancellations received in writing less than one week prior to the course will not be entitled to any refund.
