One company is known for exceptional service, and if you have ever visited one of the Disney theme parks or resorts you know what I'm talking about. This interactive workshop was created and designed to cover several key areas that are critical to improving NOI. It is a combination of both property management knowledge and experience and asking yourself, what would Disney do?

The first area deals with employees and team members, who are the foundation for your organization's success. What can we do regarding training, communication, and creating inspiration that makes them want to do their job not because they have to…but because they want to? How do we create excitement in the workplace so it inspires excellence?

Second, what can we do to create excellence for our residents so the last thing on their mind is giving you a notice to vacate? What do your residents really want when it comes to amenities, activities, communication, and feeling they are part of a community? What information do we have at our fingertips but fail to identify as a gold mine of resources for finding magic? How do we create excellence while dealing with things like rent collection, lease enforcement, the renewal process, and service? How can excellence through excitement be transferred to your brand identity, marketing, and reputation within your market?

And finally, how does magic play a part in the relationships you need when it comes to vendors and suppliers. I also have this funny feeling there will be some prestidigitation involved as well.

Meet Your Instructor:

This course will be led by Larry Berry. Larry has been a keynote trainer and speaker for hundreds of management companies, apartment associations, and even some Fortune 500 companies. After leaving the military, he immediately went into property and facility management, something he has found a passion for. Most of his career was spent in multi-family property management as a regional director or manager for major property management companies. He has also had a passion for training and education, and has been on the NAA Education Committee, one of the developers for NAA CAM and CAPS programs, keynote speaker for National Apartment Association conferences and conventions, and is author of books in both property management and leadership. Larry has been honored to serve as president of two apartment associations, and on the board of an Institute of Real Estate Management affiliate. He left property management and worked for the Walt Disney company for approximately nine years, and was a certified trainer with Disney Parks and Resorts as well.
