Get Involved!

We get asked all the time... "How can I get involved?" The answer is pretty simple. The first step is to join a committee! This is the easiest way to get involved with the TAA. We have 8 different committees and most members are able to commit to joining one, although some members are able to commit the time to two different committees. Whatever your time commitment, we can use your help!

We tell every new member who is considering joining a committee, please feel free to attend a meeting or two of any committee you are interested in joining! You are more likely to be active on a committee that meets your personal interests. So, if you can't decide between Government Affairs or Special Events, please attend a meeting of each before making your decision! Check out the committee meeting calendar to confirm the next meeting day/time. You do not need to register ahead of time, but we do recommend contacting the committee's staff liaison to confirm the day/time hasn't changed.
