Business writing is any written communication used in a professional setting, which includes emails, memos, reports, and presentations. It's direct, clear, and designed to be read quickly. In business, your writing counts. It's a projection of yourself (and your company) just as much as what you wear and how you conduct yourself.
What you will walk away with:
- The ability to share information accurately and concisely.
- The skills to clearly communicate expectations to the reader to ensure he or she is equipped with the information required to do the job.
- You will be equipped with the soft skills that effective managers and colleagues apply in a collaborative environment. This is where the people who excel in "emotional intelligence" shine in business writing.
