The Supplier Success course is designed to offer an overview of the apartment industry and recommends ways that suppliers can maximize partnerships with apartment owners, apartment management companies and apartment association members. It has been written by successful apartment industry suppliers with years of professional experience.
Time: 10:00am - 3:00pm
What you will learn:
- Understand how economic conditions have impacted the apartment industry
- Define various types of multifamily housing
- Understand the impact of pricing and lease management on a property’s financial performance
- Examine local building and zoning considerations
- Recognize measurements of a property’s success
- Understand the inner structure of the apartment associations
- Communicate using industry terms and acronyms
- Identify financial decision makers
- Review property and company organizational charts
- Review timing, resources, and daily operations of an onsite community
- Recognize business resources to maximize selling opportunities
- Learn methods for positioning products/services based on the goals of an apartment community

Lavonne Johnson, NAAEI Faculty and a seasoned leader with Bridge Property Management, brings more than 20 years of multifamily industry experience. Throughout her career, she has established herself as a respected expert across multiple markets, serving communities in the Triangle, Triad, and Charlotte regions of North Carolina, as well as Charleston, South Carolina.
A passionate advocate for the development of emerging leaders, Lavonne is dedicated to mentoring and educating professionals within the property management field. Her commitment to fostering growth and capacity among leaders has earned her a strong reputation as an industry midwife, one who assist in bringing about results.

Ashley Davoli, NAAEI Faculty and property manager with the View at Lake Lynn, brings 23 years of residential property management experience to her work as an industry educator. She offers a rare dual‑perspective background, having served on both the owner‑operator and supplier sides of the business. Her career spans roles from leasing and regional management to business development and operations, each shaped by the discipline and resilience she developed as a carpenter mason with the Ohio Army National Guard.
Ashley’s credentials include the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation, a North Carolina Real Estate License, NAAEI Faculty membership, CFC, and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification. She combines expertise in property management and human resources to identify and develop top talent while promoting the multifamily industry’s diverse career opportunities.
An active industry leader, Ashley served on the Triangle Apartment Association Board of Directors and Co-Chairs the PR and Community Outreach Committee. She currently sits on the boards of Copper Circle and the TAA PAC Board of Trustees, lending her insights to advance organizational goals.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys exploring cemeteries and uncovering the rich histories they hold, reflecting her curiosity and appreciation for stories that shape our world.
