Melissa D. White, is an International Speaker, Sales and Marketing Trainer, and Community Advocate. With over fifteen years of experience as a sales strategist in Multifamily, Melissa is passionate about seeing others reach their full potential by learning the skills to maximize total performance. As the CEO of The Activation Hour Coaching & Consulting, she most recently joined forces as the Director of Business Operations for The Kool Source- an Atlanta based digital marketing agency.

Melissa is a past recipient of The Alexandra Jackiw Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship among many other industry awards, such as the AAKC Executive of the Year. Melissa has honed her craft by leasing and training in 35 of the 50 states and counting. She specializes in learning and development, lease-ups, adaptive learning, and integrated marketing strategies. She is a guest lecturer at Drexel University and the University of Georgia teaching real estate technologies and multifamily marketing. She has been featured in trade publications such as UNITS Magazine, Multifamily Executive, as well as features in Huff Post and Training Industry Magazine.

In keeping with her passion for civic engagement, Melissa is the Founder and Executive Director of Writing Our Wrongs, Inc., a national non-profit 501(C)(3) organization with the mission of empowering youth to activate their voice through writing and speech for anti-bullying and social justice. She is also a fiscal sponsor for the City of Atlanta Public School District 5 and former liaison to the Mayor’s Office of Community Affairs. She blends conversations on these various areas of corporate-community impact with thought-leaders and notable figures as Host of The Activation Hour Podcast, which focuses on “purpose at work and in the world.”

Melissa professes that coaching others is her calling, and she is dedicated to giving back to the industry that has given her so much through activating the masses.
