Daniel Root is a Supervising Attorney with Loebsack & Brownlee. He joined the firm in 2021. Daniel graduated valedictorian from North Carolina State University, then studied law at the University of North Carolina. While at UNC, Daniel was a staff writer and later editor on the First Amendment Law Review. He also interned with judges on the North Carolina Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. Daniel spends his days attending court hearings, reviewing new evictions, and answering client questions. He also frequently attends events involving the multifamily housing industry. When not at work, Daniel enjoys traveling, playing the piano, and spending time with family.

Clara Ellington is an Associate Attorney with Loebsack & Brownlee. She joined the firm in 2023. Clara graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Carolina State University, then studied law at Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. While at Campbell, Clara served as the treasurer for the Military Law and National Security Society. She also received the Book Award for Sales and Leases - a distinction awarded to the student who achieved the highest grade point average in the class. Clara spends her days litigating summary ejectment cases, reviewing new case submissions, and advising clients. She is often visiting clients on site teaching Lunch & Learns. When not at work, Clara enjoys reading, running, and walking through downtown Raleigh with her Bernese Mountain Dog named Jury.
