A New Lease on Life is benefitting from the Leaves to Leases Virtual 5k!
How does a virtual 5k work?
It's simple! You sign up, complete the race on your own during the race period (Nov 7 - Nov 14), and submit your time using the race app, your own running app, or manually keeping track of your time.
All participants will get a Leaves to Leases shirt and 5K and 8K runners will also get a finishers medal. Since there isn't a race day packet pickup all participants have the option for their packets to be shipped or retrieved at a curbside pickup after the race period. All packets will be mailed out after the event.
- November 7 at 12:00 PM - Virtual Race Start
- November 14 at 12:00 PM - Virtual Race Finish
- November 14 at 2:00 PM - Final Results Posted
- November 15 at TBD - Curbside Packet Pickup
- December 1 (or earlier) - Packets Get Mailed
Can I setup a team? Yes! You can choose to start a team or join an existing team during the registration process. Your race team can also have a team fundraiser with individual racer fundraisers contributing to the team total fundraising goal.
Can I setup a fundraiser? Yes! You can choose to create your own fundraising page either as a race participant or as a spectator (non-race participant). If you're racing, you can setup your fundraiser during the registration process or after you're registered.
Race Location: Anywhere you want to run! You can run wherever you are comfortable: on the greenways, in your neighborhood, even around your living room. Just stay safe, have fun, and log the distance you signed up to run.
