This is Us: Jordan + Whitney
TAA's Membership Committee created the This is Us series to showcase the lasting friendships that can grow when working together as volunteers at TAA.
The stories in our series follow a Supplier member and an Owner-Operator member in a conversation surrounding how they met and started doing business together, as well as the professional growth they’ve experienced after becoming TAA members.

Among the many ways TAA brings people together, these two professionals have a friendship cultivated by the networking opportunities they otherwise wouldn't have had access to.
Whitney Nye, a Sales Executive with Apartments.com, and Jordan Haubert with Harbor Management Group have been friends for close to a year.
Whitney said, "I visit communities in the Raleigh/Durham market on a daily basis, and Jordan was one of the smiling faces that I had the pleasure of meeting during one of my site visits. With over 275 communities to visit, sometimes I will only get to visit communities quarterly. TAA gives us the opportunity to connect at different events outside of the office."
Jordan adds, "Whitney and I met when I was working at The Jamison at Brier Creek. I was new to the multifamily industry and she was so warm and welcoming and very insightful. Through TAA we have opportunities to collaborate and share our knowledge that’s been invaluable.
I have met many people through TAA that have helped me throughout my career in multifamily. If not for TAA, Whitney and I may have never met, and I value her and Apartments.com."
"The relationships that I have developed through my membership at TAA have provided growth in my professional career as well as friendships in my personal life," Whitney said.
Who would have expected that by being a member of the Triangle Apartment Association, one could develop their professional skills as well as create lifelong friendships? These are the stories we love, the friendships that give us life. This is us.
