Celebrating Our Supplier Partners

Supplier Appreciation Month is an opportunity to recognize our supplier members who give so much to our industry and to TAA. They are a source of knowledge and resources, sponsors of the programs and events that bring our membership together, volunteers who share their time and talents, and partners who consistently show up when our association and industry need them.

August was all about celebrating that support, and we had plenty of fun along the way! From lunches and mocktails to educational programs, social media shoutouts, and giveaways, we found plenty of ways to connect with and celebrate the supplier members who make such a difference to TAA and our industry. Thank you to everyone who joined in!

We also want to recognize our TAA Supporters, whose generosity helps make Supplier Appreciation Month and so many other TAA initiatives possible.

Here's How We Celebrated

TAA suppliers were invited to a complimentary lunch at the TAA office, with TAA Supporters, Past Presidents, and Board Members joining us for an afternoon of networking and appreciation.

TAA Past President Craig Nardi (Marquis Asset Management, Inc.) kicked off the lunch by welcoming attendees and sharing opening remarks. Board members Kathryn Stenerson (Bell Partners, Inc.) and Rick Picquet (Bell Partners, Inc.), along with TAA Executive Director Josie Eatmon, also shared their appreciation for the involvement and continued support of our supplier members.

We hosted two Mocktail Mondays throughout the month, giving suppliers an opportunity to unwind, connect, and network with TAA leadership and TAA Supporter owner/operator members. Attendees enjoyed a rotating menu of themed mocktails, including The Curb Appeal, Supplier Spritz, Multifamily Mule, and Supplier Slush. The Multifamily Mule was definitely a crowd favorite! 

Supplier Success Program

The National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) Supplier Success Course gave supplier members an inside look at the apartment industry, with practical strategies for building stronger partnerships with management companies and apartment communities, as well as opportunities to become more involved with the association.

Inside the Multifamily Mind

Supplier members filled the TAA Education Center on August 25 to hear directly from a panel of management company professionals. The discussion provided insight into how suppliers can better communicate with and serve apartment communities and management companies.

The panel covered topics including calling on owner/operators, preferred methods of communication, reaching decision-makers, when to make contact, navigating the bidding process, and ways suppliers can serve as a resource to their partners.

Tuesday Testimonials

Our Tuesday Testimonials series gave TAA owner/operators the opportunity to recognize the supplier partners who make a difference in their communities. Members shared stories about the people and companies they trust to provide dependable service, solve problems, and go the extra mile.
